I opted for the continental breakfast, which included a selection of vegan and gluten-free options. While the coffee was lukewarm, the quality of the pastries was commendable. The location also proved advantageous, as it allowed me to explore nearby establishments like the John Harvey Tavern and Irma's Cafe & Bistro, each offering their unique take on local cuisine. The staff were attentive, accommodating my dietary preferences and ensuring a comfortable dining experience. While my room was functional, it highlighted the hotel's commitment to providing guests with accessible amenities. The Dorset served as a practical base for both a culinary adventure and a broader exploration of the region's beauty.
